Amidst the ongoing controversy between Nayanthara and Dhanush, the former's husband and filmmaker, Vignesh Shivan has deactivated his official X handle. The controversy surrounds the use of BTS footage from Dhanush' production venture Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in Nayanthara's latest documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.Vignesh was recently a part of a roundtable interview which was based on the topic of pan-Indian films. His inclusion received backlash as neither his previous film, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, nor his upcoming Love Insurance Kompany are pan-Indian in nature. The deactivation of his account comes amidst this backlash. A statement is yet to be issued by Vignesh or his team regarding the matter.
