The trailer of Varun Dhawan’s Baby John was unveiled by the makers on Monday. Directed by Kalees, the film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles.
The trailer opens with a conversation that Varun’s character has with his on-screen daughter about an imaginary scenario. Varun is later introduced to be a cop, as he is seen in some slick action sequences with a powerful background score. Jackie plays a violent villain who wants to seek revenge on Varun. There is a mention in the trailer about a rape case which fuels some action. Varun seems to be in two avatars in the film, a crew-cut cop and a long-haired dad.
The film features music by Thaman S. It is shot by Kiran Koushik and edited by Ruben. Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande, the film will be released in theatres on December 25.
