Boman Irani’s directorial debut The Mehta Boys, starring the actor along with Avinash Tiwary, won the Best Feature Film award at the Chicago South Asian Film Festival. The film premiered at the festival on September 23 and also received a standing ovation.
The film is about an estranged relationship between a father and a son that delves deep into themes of identity, family, and belonging.
