One of the key aspects of Suriya's Kanguva that has been a talking point before and after its release is the film's world building. From Kanguva's (Suriya) world of forests and rainfall, to Udhiran's (Bobby Deol) fiery land, each clan has been crafted meticulously.
Speaking about the same in an interview with Sudhir Srinivasan for our channel, Siva said, "We as audience know that we are seated in a theatre. We are also aware that the people are acting in the film. In the same way, it is well known that we are not in any way related to what is happening on screen, but we forget all that and clap, appreciate and shed tears for the story. This unexplainable magical connection is what cinema is all about. In the legendary poet Kannadasan sir's words 'We can experience it'. We cannot analyse it. I believe that the director's job is to create that connection with the audience job."
