Written and directed by Vignesh Shivan, the 2015 Tamil hit starred Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, with Dhanush as the producer. In an earlier interview with Hello Magazine, both Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan credited Dhanush for their love story.
