Pa Ranjith has released the first single from Thandakaaranyam, starring actors Kalaiyarasan and Attakathi Dinesh in lead roles. Titled 'Adiye Alangaari', the song is sung by Krishnaraj and Ananya Bhat with lyrics by Uma Devi. The breezy song gives a glimpse into the romantic relationships of the lead characters played by Dinesh and Kalaiyarasan.
The first poster of the film, which was released a few weeks ago, showed Kalaiyarasan in camouflage holding a red flag, while Dinesh looked like a villager who had weaponised a tree's twig. The film's title, the name of the forest from the Hindu epic Ramayana, where Lord Ram was sent to exile, suggests the film will be set in a forest and will revolve around naxalism. However, official plot details have been kept under wraps.
