Kottukkaali First Review: Sivakarthikeyan's latest production venture starring Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles is written and directed by P.S. Vinothraj. The movie titled 'Kottukkaali' is gearing up for a grand worldwide release in Tamil on August 23. The movie is a unique approach in throwing light on a sensitive issue about women told in a never-seen-before narration.
The movie first was premiered on February 16 at Berlinale, at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in the Forum section and won applause. The reviewers opined that the movie is "a funny and peculiar little dramedy about female empowerment. The film could have done with a little more polishing." The entire movie features Anna Ben's character Meena as a victim of black magic and is said to have only one dialogue and there is no background score. The movie promises an interesting and unique experience for sure, reportedly.
