We had earlier reported that writer-director Chidambaram's Malayalam survival drama Manjummel Boys would be screened at the KinoBravo Film Festival as part of the festival's competition section, and in doing so, it would become the first-ever Malayalam film to compete at the festival, as well as the only Indian film to feature in its competition section this year. Now, the makers of the film took to their social media to announce that the film had won he award for Best Music at the festival.
