The makers of Marco dropped the promo song, composed by Saeed Abbas and penned by Vinayak Sasikumar, titled 'Marpapa' on Monday. The video of the track, performed by renowned Malayalam rapper Baby Jean, is directed by the film's lead actor Unni Mukundan. Directed by Haneef Adeni, the upcoming film is a spin-off of Unni’s character from the Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael (2018).
Promoted as the most violent Malayalam film to date, Marco is set to hit theatres worldwide on December 20. The film also stars Jagadish, Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Arjun Nandakumar, Durva Thaker, Yukti Tareja, Abhimanyu Shammy Thilakan, Ishan Shoukath, Siddique, and Riyaz Khan. Its technical team includes cinematographer Chandru Selvaraj, editor Shameer Muhammed, and action choreographer Kalai Kingson.
