Meiyazhagan OTT Release: "Meiyazhagan" is a Tamil drama film, written and directed by C. Prem Kumar and produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the 2D Entertainment banner. Karthi stars in the lead role, alongside an impressive ensemble cast that includes Arvind Swamy, Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, and Saran Shakthi. The film was released worldwide on September 27, 2024. The film was officially announced in February 2024 under the working title "Karthi 27," marking Karthi's 27th lead role, with the final title revealed in May. Principal photography commenced in November 2023, mainly filmed in Chennai and Kodambakkam, and wrapped up by late February 2024. The soundtrack was composed by Govind Vasantha, while Mahendiran Jayaraju oversaw cinematography, and R. Govindraj handled editing.
