Within the first weekend, Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark and has earned over Rs 240 crores at the global box office. As reported by Sacnilk.com, Vettaiyan earned Rs 104.75 crore net in India within its first four days. The film opened strong with Rs 31.7 crore on its debut day, followed by Rs 24 crore on Friday, Rs 26.5 crore on Saturday, and Rs 22.3 crore on Sunday.
