After a few weeks of its run in the theatres, RJ Balaji's latest film Sorgavaasal is gearing up for its OTT release. The film is directed by debutant Sidharth Vishwanath, an erstwhile assistant of filmmaker Pa Ranjith.
On the coming soon section of Netflix, the OTT platform has revealed that the film will be released on December 27.
Sorgavaasal, which hit theatres on November 29, revolves around RJ Balaji's character who is wrongfully imprisoned. During his time in prison, he meets various inmates and questions whether such places really reform people. The film opened to mixed reviews upon release.
