Producer Dil Raju has recently been appointed as the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation (TFDC) by the Government of Telangana. Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju said that after the bifurcation of the state, there has been a pressing need to grow Telangana cinema and promote Telangana’s culture in cinema. "Over the years, Hyderabad has developed as a hub for Telugu cinema. Now, the goal is to make Hyderabad the hub for Indian cinema and also international cinema," he explained.
